Ireland Prime Minister – Taoiseach – Leo Varadkar

Mr Varadkar and the Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis met with pupils from Hartstown Community School in Dublin which has the highest number of Lithuanians of any school in Ireland.

Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in Ireland CEO Antanas Gedvilas is happy to notice a stronger collaboration between Ireland and Lithuania since Prime Minister’s meeting in Dublin, March 2019.  Important steps have been made regarding educational, cultural and economical relationships.

The Taoiseach was speaking at Farmleigh where he held a meeting with the Lithuanian prime minister Saulius Skvernelis, where Brexit and EU priorities after the UK’s exit from the union were discussed. 

Mr Varadkar and the Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis met with pupils from Hartstown Community School in Dublin which has the highest number of Lithuanians of any school in Ireland.

Mr Varadkar said both Ireland and Lithuania wanted the future trade relationship between the EU and the UK to be as close as possible.
